
Ranikhet is a hill station and that is located in the Almora district, in Uttarakhand. Ranikhet was rediscovered by the Britishers in the year 1869, and who later transformed the hill station into headquarters of the Kumaon Regiment. Ranikhet has become a favorite hotspot among the local and foreign tourists. , It is very cold in winters and very pleasant in summer and best enjoyed from March to October. Doonagiri Mela: Doonagiri Mela comes at Navratri. Doonagiri is a pilgrim and here is an ancient Durga temple. This temple attracts great number of pilgrims.
Nanda Devi Mela : Nanda Devi temple is famous for its colorful Nanda Devi Festival and it is celebrated in the month of September.
